First swim

Today michelle invited us to go swimming at grandma lewis's pool. It was jakes first time going swimming. The water was perfect (80+ deg).   Jake had a great time.  He even floated on his back (with help of course) without crying.  He would giggle when we would blow bubbles in the water.  It was really cute.

After we enjoyed our campout, we enjoyed some yummy frozen yogurt, (and Jake enjoyed a nap!).

Stairway to Bedtime!

Going up is no problem...we're still working on going down.  :)

8 months

Jacob is growing so fast!
He can now crawl on hands and knees and hands and feet, pull himself up on most of the furniture and lower himself back down to his bum without falling.  He can roll his 'r's better than some adults, loves to open and close doors, doesn't have any teeth yet (but I think he's working on it), he can clap, and is very vocal.  It is so fun to watch him learn.  What a sweet little guy he is.

Jake likes to pull himself up on everything...especially on great-grandpa's childhood rocking chair.
